This is the official blog of Steve Palazzolo, minor league baseball player and pitching instructor for all ages. I have been playing baseball professionally since 2004, and have had minor leagues stints with the Milwaukee Brewers, San Francisco Giants, and Seattle Mariners, making it as high as Triple A. I have also been a pitching instructor since 2004.
After a high school career at North Reading High School in North Reading, MA, I attended UMass Lowell to play baseball and study business. UMass Lowell is a division 2 baseball program in the Northeast 10 conference. After two appearances in the Division 2 College World Series, I went undrafted in 2004, but signed my first professional contract with the Florence Freedom of the Frontier League.
Since signing that first contract, it’s been a long, exciting road through the minors. This blog is intended to discuss many of the lessons I’ve learned throughout the years with special attention to pitching mechanics, strength and conditioning, nutrition, and the mental aspects of pitching.
I continue to do pitching lessons in the Massachusetts and New Hampshire area, and for more information or any questions/comments, please feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
